U.S. Department of War Selects Five Military Sites for Counter-Drone Systems
The U.S. Department of War's Joint Interagency Task Force (JIATF) 401 has chosen five military installations to receive directed-energy weapons as part of a pilot program to counter illegal unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) flights. The selected sites, including Fort Huachuca, Arizona, and Fort Bliss, Texas, will support testing and operational assessments of these advanced directed energy capabilities.
