U.S. Department of Transportation Announces $1.73 Billion Infrastructure Investment Across 52 States and Territories

The U.S. Department of Transportation has unveiled a significant infrastructure investment of US$1.73 billion, allocating funds to 127 projects across 52 states, U.S. territories, and the District of Columbia through the Better Utilizing Investments to Leverage Development (BUILD) grant program. This funding aims to modernize critical transport infrastructure, including roads, bridges, ports, railways, transit systems, and airport facilities, to enhance connectivity, improve safety, and support economic growth. Texas received the largest share of the grants, with approximately US$105 million.
