EPA Proposes New Rule to Monitor Unregulated Drinking Water Contaminants

The Environmental Protection Agency has introduced its sixth Unregulated Contaminant Monitoring Rule (UCMR 6). This proposal mandates public water systems to collect data on seven ultrashort organofluorine compounds, including PFAS, three pesticide metabolites, and other organic compounds.
