Health Agencies Investigate Cyclospora Outbreak Linked to Mexican Lettuce

Federal health authorities, including the CDC and FDA, are investigating a multi-state Cyclospora outbreak traced to shredded iceberg lettuce from Taylor Farms de Mexico. This contaminated lettuce, served at Taco Bell locations across five states, has resulted in over 1,600 illnesses and 94 hospitalizations. Taylor Farms has initiated a recall in response to the public health concern.
