Senators Urge ICE Accountability and Body Camera Implementation After Fatal Incidents

A bipartisan group of 39 U.S. senators has formally requested greater transparency and policy changes from the Department of Homeland Security regarding Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The senators are calling for improved agent vetting, revised vehicle pursuit protocols, and the immediate deployment of body cameras for all ICE officers. This demand comes in response to two recent fatal shootings involving ICE agents in Houston and Maine.
