Space Force Triples Commercial Launch Capacity, Expands National Security Space Launch Program to $30 Billion

The U.S. Space Force's Space Systems Command (SSC) announced an expansion of its National Security Space Launch (NSSL) Phase 3 program ceiling to $30 billion. This increase is driven by tripling the Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract limit for flexible commercial launch services under Lane 1 from $5.6 billion to $17 billion, aiming to meet growing national security launch demands and alleviate industry-wide launch constraints.
