Democrats Press ICE on Oversight Following Use-of-Force Incidents

Democratic members of the House Homeland Security Committee have pressed Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials for greater oversight. This follows a briefing where it was revealed that one ICE officer has been referred for discipline over a use-of-force incident since the start of the Trump administration, amidst concerns raised by two recent shootings in which ICE officers killed immigrants during arrests.
