Department of Energy Announces $100 Billion Partnership for AI Data Center and Energy Infrastructure in Kentucky

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has partnered with private companies for a $100 billion investment to redevelop its Paducah Site in Kentucky into an AI data center campus with new energy infrastructure. This privately funded project is expected to create approximately 8,000 construction jobs and 600 permanent jobs, aiming to expand reliable energy access and support America's AI future.
