Department of Energy to Convert Kentucky Uranium Plant into $100 Billion AI Data Center

The U.S. Department of Energy has selected Brookfield Asset Management to develop and operate a $100 billion data center complex, including a new natural gas and battery storage power plant, at the former Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant in Kentucky. This initiative is part of the Trump administration's strategy to achieve artificial intelligence superiority over China and follows similar projects at other former DOE sites in Ohio and South Carolina.
