FCC Proposes Ban on Military-Grade Foreign-Made Drone Components for National Security
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is seeking comments on a proposal to prohibit the continued importation and marketing of certain military-grade foreign-made Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and their critical components. This action is proposed due to findings that these devices pose an unacceptable risk to U.S. national security and the safety and security of U.S. persons, pursuant to the Secure and Trusted Communications Act of 2019.
