Coalition of 25 U.S. States Sues Trump Administration Over 'Unlawful' Global Tariffs

A coalition comprising 25 U.S. states and commonwealths has filed a lawsuit in the U.S. Court of International Trade. The lawsuit aims to block the Trump administration's latest attempt to impose sweeping global tariffs ranging from 10% to 12.5%, alleging that the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) used a 'pretextual' investigation into global forced labor as a 'guise' to reimpose previously struck-down trade barriers.
