Pentagon Awards $15 Million Contract to Kaizen for Counter-Drone Marketplace Development

The Pentagon's Joint Interagency Task Force 401 has awarded a $15 million contract to Kaizen, a software company, to develop a digital marketplace for counter-unmanned aerial system (c-UAS) defense tools. This initiative aims to streamline the purchasing process for drone defense systems for military, law enforcement, and select foreign militaries, addressing security concerns and the cost-mass imbalance in deploying interceptors against cheaper drones.
