USDA Announces New Crop Insurance Flexibilities and Reinstates Prevented Planting Option for Farmers
The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Risk Management Agency (RMA) has announced temporary premium payment flexibilities, allowing producers up to 60 additional days to pay crop insurance premiums and administrative fees for billing dates between July 1 and September 30, 2026.
