DARPA Awards IonQ $28 Million Contract for Next-Generation Atomic Clocks
IonQ has secured a $28 million contract extension from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) to produce 125 Evergreen-05 optical atomic clocks. These next-generation clocks are intended for U.S. government mission-critical applications such as radar, secure communications, and precision geolocation, and will be delivered across land, maritime, and airborne platforms.
