Water Watch Center Launched to Bolster Cybersecurity for Small U.S. Water Utilities

DEF CON Franklin and the National Rural Water Association have launched the Water Watch Center, an initiative to provide direct cybersecurity support to small U.S. water utilities. This program aims to enhance cyber defenses, identify attacks, and mitigate breaches for the 91% of community water systems serving fewer than 10,000 people, following what was described as a widespread nation-state cyberattack on U.S. water systems.
