White House Directs Federal Law Enforcement to Partner with Private Sector to Combat Cybercrime and Fraud

President Trump has issued an executive order establishing a new program within the Homeland Security Task Force's National Coordination Center. This program will partner with private companies to conduct cyber operations aimed at disrupting transnational criminal organizations responsible for ransomware attacks, phishing campaigns, and other cybercrimes. The initiative is overseen by executive directors from the Department of Justice and Department of Homeland Security.
