White House Imposes Tariffs Up to 100 Percent on Drones and Components

President Donald Trump has signed a proclamation imposing tariffs of up to 100 percent on larger drones and 25 percent on smaller drones and other components. This action is aimed at addressing national security concerns and strengthening U.S. manufacturing capabilities in the drone industry. The move follows the FCC placing foreign-made drones and critical components on its Covered List in December and a proposal earlier this summer to ban previously approved drones deemed to have 'military-grade' capabilities.
