White House Imposes Tariffs Up to 100 Percent on Foreign-Made Drones and Components

The White House announced new tariffs, including up to 100 percent on larger drones and 25 percent on smaller drones and components, as part of an effort to strengthen U.S. manufacturing capabilities and address national security concerns. The tariffs also include a 15 percent rate on drones from certain allied nations and 10 percent for those from the United Kingdom. This action follows previous measures by the FCC to restrict foreign-made drones.
