EPA Exempts Calcium Carbonate from Pesticide Tolerance Requirements on All Food Commodities

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has issued a regulation, effective August 17, 2026, that eliminates the need to establish a maximum permissible level for residues of calcium carbonate in or on all food commodities. This action is in accordance with the terms of the exemption.
