U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Grants Federal Permit for Louisiana International Terminal

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has issued a federal permit for the construction of the Louisiana International Terminal (LIT), which is set to become the nation's only new greenfield container port. This project aims to enhance Gulf Coast trade capacity, strengthen the U.S. supply chain, and boost American manufacturing and commerce by connecting over 30 states to global markets.
