Federal Government Finalizes Two-Year Colorado River Water Cuts for Lower Basin States

The Bureau of Reclamation has released its two-year operating plan for the Colorado River, which finalizes mandatory water cuts for Arizona, California, and Nevada. This plan adopts a proposal from these three lower division states, collectively reducing their water allocation by 1.25 million acre-feet annually for the next two years.
