U.S. Department of Transportation Invests $665 Million to Modernize Ferry Infrastructure

U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean P. Duffy announced a $665 million investment to modernize ferry infrastructure across 14 states and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The funding, delivered through the Federal Transit Administration's ferry grant programs, will support 23 projects aimed at replacing aging vessels, upgrading dock infrastructure, and expanding docking capacity to improve transit systems for communities reliant on ferries.
