U.S. Department of Transportation Invests $665 Million in Ferry Infrastructure Modernization

U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean P. Duffy announced a $665 million investment to modernize ferry infrastructure across 23 projects in 14 states and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The funding, provided through the Federal Transit Administration's ferry grant programs, aims to upgrade terminal infrastructure, launch new ferry routes, and fund new vessels, connecting communities and facilitating the movement of goods.
