NNSA Signs MOU with Pacific Fusion, Breaks Ground on High-Yield Fusion Research Facility

The National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) and Pacific Fusion have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on high-yield fusion research, high-energy-density science, and related technical areas. This agreement coincides with Pacific Fusion breaking ground on its Research and Manufacturing Campus in Albuquerque, New Mexico, which will house the world's first high-yield, high-gain fusion demonstration facility. The partnership aims to strengthen national security, support the nuclear deterrent, and advance American leadership in fusion science.
