DHS Proposes New $100,000 Fee for H-1B Cap-Subject Petitions

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has published a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) to establish a new $103,265 filing fee for all H-1B cap-subject petitions. This proposed fee, which would be in addition to existing H-1B fees, is part of a broader immigration crackdown and follows a federal court striking down a previous attempt by the Trump administration to impose a similar fee.
