Pentagon review to provide options for U.S. troop deployments in Europe by November 6

A Pentagon review of U.S. troop deployments in Europe is set to generate at least four sets of options for Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth by November 6, ahead of a December deadline for the review's completion. NATO allies are concerned that the six-month review, announced in June, could lead to significant cuts to the approximately 80,000 U.S. forces stationed across Europe.
