President Trump Announces Agreement Securing U.S. Majority Control of Venezuelan Oil Reserves

President Donald Trump announced that the United States has finalized an agreement with Venezuela to gain majority control of over 65 billion barrels of Venezuela's proven oil reserves. Venezuelan Acting President Delcy Rodriguez described the deal as a 'historic milestone' expected to bring over $100 billion in investment and generate more than $209 billion in taxes for Venezuela.
