Federal Agencies Launch Major Crackdown on Trucking Industry Fraud

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Department of Transportation (DOT), and the White House Fraud Task Force initiated "Joint Task Force Crossroads of America," a multi-state effort to combat fraud in the trucking industry. This includes a synchronized surge at over 200 driving schools across 23 states, targeting commercial driver's license (CDL) fraud, unauthorized employment, and identity fraud. The initiative also involves the emergency removal of 110 CDL schools associated with drivers who failed English language proficiency tests.
