DHS Secretary Announces Over 2,100 ICE Arrests in New York Operation

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin announced the successful conclusion of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) “Operation Rotten Apple” in New York. The operation, conducted from July 27 to August 29, resulted in the arrest of 2,197 individuals across the state, with Secretary Mullin criticizing New York's “sanctuary policies.”
