DHS Criticizes Federal Judge's Release of MS-13 Gang Member Wanted for Murder

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) issued a statement criticizing a federal judge in California for releasing David Antonio Aviles Perez, an MS-13 gang member wanted for aggravated murder in El Salvador, from ICE custody. DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin stated this is the second time the individual has been released in California, accusing 'sanctuary politicians' and the judge of putting American lives at risk.
