Department of Justice Launches National Fraud Detection Center

The U.S. Department of Justice has established a new National Fraud Detection Center (NFDC) to enhance the federal government's ability to detect and investigate complex fraud. The center aims to break down institutional silos, integrate analysts from various Inspector General communities, and leverage shared technology to prevent the exploitation of taxpayer funds.
