Department of Justice Launches National Fraud Detection Center

The Department of Justice (DOJ) announced the establishment of the National Fraud Detection Center (NFDC), an interagency initiative designed to enhance the detection and prevention of complex fraud targeting federal programs. Assistant Attorney General Colin McDonald stated that the NFDC aims to close opportunities for those exploiting taxpayer dollars by breaking down institutional silos and leveraging shared technology.
