Department of Justice Establishes National Fraud Detection Center
The Department of Justice has announced the formation of the National Fraud Detection Center (NFDC), an interagency collaboration aimed at addressing and preventing fraud in federal programs. The initiative seeks to overcome previous "lack of cross-program visibility" by bringing together state and federal agencies, including the FBI, DHS, Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration, and the Small Business Administration.
