Canada Imposes Counter-Tariffs on U.S. Goods Effective September 8, 2026

In response to U.S. tariffs, Canada has implemented new tariffs ranging from 15% to 50% on $27.6 billion worth of U.S. imports, targeting sectors such as steel, dairy, appliances, and electronics. These countermeasures are effective as of September 8, 2026.
