EPA and Army Corps Propose Narrower Definitions for Clean Water Act Protections

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Army Corps of Engineers have proposed new limits on which wetlands and streams receive federal protection. The EPA also seeks to revise the Clean Water Act's regulatory language to exempt ships from requiring pollution permits.
