Federal Court Rules Tennessee Valley Authority's Kingston Gas Plant Decision Broke Environmental Law

A federal court in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee ruled that the Tennessee Valley Authority's (TVA) decision to build its massive Kingston Gas Plant contained "fundamental" errors and violated the federal National Environmental Policy Act. The court's order vacates TVA's environmental impact statement and record of decision for the plant.
