Congress Passes, President Signs Continuing Resolution to Avert Government Shutdown

The U.S. Congress passed a Continuing Resolution with bipartisan support, which President Donald Trump subsequently signed into law, funding the federal government at current levels through December 11, 2026, and averting a potential government shutdown. The resolution also included language to delay the OMB Proposed Rule on Regulations for Federal Financial Assistance.
