DOJ Strike Force Disrupts Illicit Online Marketplace, Seizes $52 Million in Crypto

The Department of Justice's Scam Center Strike Force, led by U.S. Attorney Jeanine Ferris Pirro, has taken significant action against Xinbi Guarantee, a Chinese-language illicit marketplace on Telegram. This operation, which also aided in dismantling 13 scam compounds in Madagascar, resulted in the restraint of approximately $52 million in cryptocurrency, contributing to a total of $938 million restrained by the Strike Force. The marketplace allegedly facilitated scam services, money laundering, and human trafficking.
