Federal Authorities Target Illicit Telegram Scamming Marketplace 'Huione Guarantee'

U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro announced a major federal action against 'Huione Guarantee,' a Telegram-based marketplace with over 650,000 users, alleging its use for creating fake investment sites, money laundering, and soliciting human trafficking victims for scam compounds in Southeast Asia. The interagency Scam Center Strike Force is leading the effort to combat these foreign-backed criminal networks.
