HHS Awards Nearly $25 Million to Strengthen Small Rural Hospitals in 13 States

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), has awarded nearly $25 million to 132 small rural hospitals across 13 states. These funds, provided through the Rural Hospital Provider Assistance Program, aim to help these hospitals maintain their medical workforce, sustain essential healthcare services, and strengthen access to care in their communities.
