Congressman Kean Introduces Legislation to Preserve 9/11 Survivor Stories and Honor SEAL Team Six

U.S. Rep. Tom Kean Jr. (R-N.J.) introduced two pieces of legislation to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. The "9/11 Legacy Preservation Act of 2026" would establish an oral history program to collect firsthand accounts from survivors, while the "SEAL Team Six Congressional Gold Medal Act" seeks to award a Congressional Gold Medal to SEAL Team Six for their role in bringing Osama bin Laden to justice.
