FDA Approves Telix's Brain Cancer Imaging Drug Pixclara

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved Pixclara (floretyrosine F 18 or 18F-FET), a new PET imaging drug developed by Telix Pharmaceuticals for glioma (brain cancer). This approval marks the first FDA-approved FET-PET imaging drug for glioma, addressing a critical unmet need in differentiating recurrent or progressive glioma from treatment-related changes in both adult and pediatric patients.
