DHS Announces First Removal of Alien Terrorist Using Specialized Court

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced the removal of Nazira Haji Zada, an Afghan national, after she conceded to being an alien terrorist in the inaugural case before the United States Alien Terrorist Removal Court (ATRC). Zada was linked to a plot to commit an ISIS-inspired mass shooting on Election Day 2024.
