DHS Announces First-Ever Removal of Alien Terrorist Using Specialized Court

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced the removal of Nazira Haji Zada, an Afghan national, after the first-ever case before the United States Alien Terrorist Removal Court (ATRC). Zada, who supported a plot to commit an ISIS-inspired mass shooting, conceded she is an alien terrorist and waived appeal of the removal order.
