House Approves Water Resources Development Act of 2026

The U.S. House of Representatives has approved the Water Resources Development Act of 2026, a biennial water infrastructure package. The legislation authorizes 133 new feasibility studies and 14 ready-for-construction projects through the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, covering ports, harbors, inland waterways, and storm protection. It also includes policy changes to expedite project delivery and enhance the role of non-federal partners in funding access.
