Pentagon Prepares Options for Three-Day Attack on Iran Amid Expanded U.S. Naval Deployment

The Pentagon has developed plans for a potential three-day attack targeting Iranian missile and drone arsenals, energy facilities, and military command sites, according to reports. This comes as the U.S. is preparing to temporarily deploy three aircraft carriers to the Middle East by late October, a naval presence not seen since 2003. President Trump stated on Thursday that the U.S. would not attack Iran before the November 3 midterm elections, while also mentioning "productive discussions" with Iran.
