Federal Judge Orders Immediate Halt to Trump Administration's Taxpayer-Funded Pro-Trump Ads

A U.S. District Judge in the Southern District of New York issued a Temporary Restraining Order on Sunday, directing the Trump Administration to immediately cease its series of taxpayer-funded pro-Trump television advertisements. The order also prohibits any future ad purchases by the administration, following a complaint alleging the use of public funds for political ads violates the Appropriations Clause of the Constitution.
