Trump Administration Moves Three Senior AI Officials to White House

The Trump administration is reportedly moving three senior officials from the Commerce Department's Center for Advancing Innovation and Standards for Super Intelligence (CAISSI) directly into the White House. CAISSI is the federal government's primary agency for evaluating advanced AI models for safety and capability. This move is seen as an attempt to streamline AI decision-making by placing testers closer to policymakers, addressing coordination issues between CAISSI and the Commerce Department.
