Justice Department Announces Coordinated Actions Against North Korean Remote IT Worker Schemes

The Department of Justice has announced coordinated actions, including an indictment, two arrests, and the seizure of approximately 187 computer devices, to combat North Korean government schemes using remote IT workers to fund its regime through work for over 70 U.S. companies. These actions were part of "Operation Lonestar Roundup."
