Rep. Ilhan Omar's attorneys demand return of property seized in federal search of her home

Attorneys for Representative Ilhan Omar (D-MN) have formally requested the Justice Department to immediately return property seized from her Washington, D.C., home earlier this week. They argue that the federal search, part of an immigration fraud investigation, was "neither justified nor lawful" and a politically motivated action against a target of President Trump, especially weeks before the midterm elections.
